ARCTIC STEEL STRAINERS & FITTINGS

The Arctic Steel brand covers a range of high-quality stainless steel raw water strainers, skin fittings, tail pieces and exterior hull scoops. The strainers are manufactured to military specifications from 2205 duplex cast stainless steel, which is electro-polished to a high standard of finish. They are available in bottom-entry and side-entry configurations.

Strainers with threaded ports are available in sizes from 1 inch BSP through to 6 inches BSP, and flanged strainers can be custom built as required. NPT threaded strainers are available upon request. Clear polycarbonate or solid 2205 stainless steel lids are available. The threaded thumb screws that clamp the lid to the body are captured so they cannot be dropped in the bilge, or misplaced. Strainer baskets are made from either 316 stainless steel or ABS.
