TECNICOMAR SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS (STP) & WATERMAKERS
Tecnicomar is a European company with distributors in 35 countries. It manufactures a range of watermakers with outputs between 70 litres per hour (lph) and 10,000 lph.
The models with high output are designed for land based, industrial and marine applications such as offshore oil platforms, naval vessels, cruise liners and superyachts. The models with more modest production are ideal for owner operated sailing yachts and motor yachts with AC power (generators).
Features include a booster pump with a bronze housing, Cat high pressure pump with ceramic pistons, automatic pressure regulation, double pre-filters with 30 micron and 5 micron cartridges, high-quality Filmtec/Dow reverse osmosis membranes and electronic monitoring that diverts output overboard if it does not meet pre-set parameters.
