RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT

General Marine Services have been supporting the marine industry for over 26 years, in both sales and servicing of all types of boats. We’re proud of, and renowned for, the level of customer support we provide to local recreational and commercial boat builders, DIY'ers and marine engineers as well as the international superyacht market. Our retail store is based at the Westhaven marine precinct (Orams) and our Service team operates out of two locations, Westhaven and Te Atatu South.

We have an exciting opportunity for a fast and focused individual to join a team of like-minded and energetic people.

The role involves the provision of outstanding service to customers in our showroom, and those who get in touch by phone or through our website, as well as processing customer orders. 

The ideal candidate would already have the following skills:

• Proven retail sales or people-facing experience
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own (unsupervised)

Training will be provided to get you up to speed with the large range of products that we sell.
