The Tecnicomar UV anti-bacteria systems can eliminate 99% of bacteria and viruses from fresh water producing bacteria-free water without adding chemicals like chlorine. The UV anti-bacteria systems are equipped with a sediment prefilter to increase efficiency of the UV rays, and an activated carbon filter to remove bad smell and taste from the water.

They can be installed on the fresh water outlet of the watermaker or after the pressure tank on the water distribution pipeline. The lifetime of the high intensity anti-bacteria UV lamp is estimated in 9,000 hours of continuous service.
