PROJECT MANAGEMENT

GMS General Marine Services project manage new-build, maintenance and refit programmes throughout New Zealand. Systems are in place to provide comprehensive reporting, including digital photos and CAD drawings.

We also coordinate and monitor surveys to the required standard set out by the relevant maritime safety authority/classification society.

DESIGN

GMS General Marine Services' approach to system design is one of innovation and practicality.

We understand the high capital outlay required to build any vessel, and realise that thorough design analysis and costing of any plan will always be the most worthwhile approach.

When specifying a system we take into account many elements. They include: survey requirements (Lloyds, DNV, ABS, etc); budget constraints; performance criteria; operating conditions, operating area and resale value.

Our SolidWorks design programmes display British and International symbols, and outputs can be provided as digital files or bound hard copies.
